The indirect impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on fertility, maternal and neonatal health
I am researching the indirect impact the COVID-19 pandemic and measures taken to mitigate the spread of the virus has had on maternal and neonatal health. My research will also assess inequities in maternal and neonatal health care and outcomes, largely focusing on socio-economic characteristics. My research will use a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative methods using linked population-level data from the Secure Anonymised Information Linkage (SAIL) Databank and qualitative methods.
