The focus of my PhD is inequalities in older adult safeguarding in the UK. I am examining disparities and differences in abuse risk, safeguarding responses and related rights among older people in the UK. My PhD project is mixed methods, including a scoping review, analysis of the new Adults Receiving Care and Support Census, and a qualitative study to follow.
