Post Conflict Justice in Post Conflict Societies

My research investigates the intersections of law, language, and identity in societies shaped by colonial legacies. Using a socio-legal and anthropological approach, I explore how communities negotiate recognition, belonging, and authority within conditions of structural liminality. In particular, I consider how practices of linguistic and cultural expression reflect both colonial continuities and decolonial possibilities. My work contributes to wider debates on legal consciousness, decolonial theory, and the role of law in divided and post-conflict societies.
